Where do UA Dems meet? 

We meet every Tuesday during the school year at 7pm in 133 Lloyd Hall. We also usually have a weekly social event on a separate evening of the week.

How do I become a member?

To become a full member eligible to vote for things such as changes to the organization’s constitution or in the spring for Executive Board elections, you have to pay yearly membership dues and attend meetings regularly. It is not required to pay dues to attend our general meetings, so feel free to come and see what we’re all about!

What is Executive Board (A.K.A E-Board)?

Executive Board, or E-Board for short, is a group of seven individuals elected by the membership every spring for the following school year. You can learn more about each member for the 2015-2016 school year by clicking on the “Meet The Executive Board” tab.

How can I get more involved?

At most meetings, we’ll usually go over specific tasks E-Board members need help with. Most E-Board members head committees (Finance, Outreach, and Social committees) that you can join and attend their weekly committee meetings. Brand new to the 2015 year, we’ll also be having specialized caucuses that members can be a part of. If you’d like to be even more involved, in the spring, we have E-Board elections where members who have paid dues can run for different positions on the board.

There are multiple ways you can keep up with us. Following us on Facebook and Twitter are great ways to start. You can also email us at uadems@gmail.com and ask to be put on our email list to get all of our updates! We also have a Google calendar in our “Upcoming Events” tab that you can add to your own digital calendar so you don’t miss any of our meetings and events.
